Also, despite being dark comedies they both have pretty realistic & not exploitative representations of mental illness & trauma. Bojack Horseman gets bonus points for its thoughtful representations of intergenerational trauma, substance use disorders, & asexuality.

Agreed. But it's infuriating. & I'm also fairly certain that these fake DME companies send out requests under multiple company names at once which is why they don't know how to answer the phone when we actually call them. As soon as they answer we say something like "who am I calling"

They are doing DME scams because they are trying to get doctor signatures. DME must have the actual doctors signature (they can't use a stamp or electronic signature). DME is not the only route they are taking to get this info which is why I don't believe a word they say. Again sorry this is so long

Sorry this is so long but this is literally my job & they are not being truthful. The reason these fake companies have popped up is because so many people's information (including SSA & Medicare ID numbers) have been leaked & sold on the dark web following hacks.

Personally, I have called actual patients to see if they are requesting supplies through X DME Company. Maybe we are not the norm, but we go out of our way to protect our patients. Dr. Dumbass is assuming that the people on the front line of catching this fraud are as stupid as him & we're not

we have someone who takes a second look at requests that are flagged as fraudulent. We call the phone numbers & if it's a scam, you can tell. They usually answer the phone by saying "hello?". They don't even say the name of their fake company.

I work in healthcare and we've been aware of this issue for a few years. We get fake DME requests ALL THE TIME. Usually, you can put the phone/fax/address/company name into Google & it leads nowhere. You can tell it's a scam. We know what to look for & further more,
