From a decision science standpoint, one of the best ways to get to the bottom of any situation is to have 8-12 randos show up and talk it through. It really works well the vast majority of the time.

Ah yes, to hear the evidence that was kept out, and to ask the judge if they thought you reached the right verdict, and to be told by the judge that if you thought it through and followed the instructions, then it was the right verdict.

The Trajekt Effect: How Technology Shifts the Game's Learning Curve | Baseball Prospectus How to gain a perpetual edge.

On the Trajekt stuff, @jrodrigues39.bsky.social had a great piece in August about how Trajekt teams have bigger OPS jumps on the first time through the order, and their home OPS on the third turn has the most significant jump www.baseballprospectus.com/news/article...

Brewers tap into power reserves, drub Cubs for 2-0 NLDS lead MILWAUKEE -- The Brewers, short of starters by season’s end but long on smarts and creativity in the area of run prevention, spent weeks putting together a pitching plan for Game 2 of the National Lea...

The Brewers’ Game 2 pitching plan was so detailed it included Quinn Priester warming up as a decoy. Aside from a first inning blip, it went beautifully.

But to win by launching homers? Who could have planned for that?
