Been cookin' up a storm, and sort of finally falling into vegetarianism in the process. This meal was actually accidentally vegan!

Been talking to my veggie coworker about it a lot and going back to recipes of my childhood. When I miss my mom, cooking a meal helps.

They both have black bases with layers of Gare Pottery glazes on top (Riverstone, Robin's Egg, and Pottery Patina), and look nearly identical at the moment. Once fired, one will have a glossy base and the other will have a satin matte one.
