Hm, Anego don't seem to have that much. Besides having two new IPs coming up, one of them that's being developed by former members of Hypixel Studios.
Money talks in this case, especially with Forte. I don't think Anego would have enough to offer to acquire Everhaven.

This shows that Forte are willing part with IPs they gain from buying studios. And this reopens the possibility and hope of Everhaven being saved.

Recent interview revealed that Forte allowed Phoenix Labs 3 months to try and find a new owner for Everhaven, but Forte stopped them 1 month in and laid off the dev team.
As of October 2024, Forte mentioned they currently aren’t looking for funding on paused projects.
