Savannah is probably most famous for its 19th century #architecture, but this steeple on St. Paul’s Evangelical Lutheran church really caught my eye. Harold E. Wagoner architect, 1955.

I owe my bones to all the milk I drank from Halo Farm growing up in the 80s.

Catherine O’Hara was a comedy giant. Lots of 70s and 80s comedy has aged terribly. But S.C.T.V. and especially her performances are still so good and so hilarious.

I know Philly Streets Department has been going viral for the wrong reasons since the snow. But they plowed my narrow South Philly street at 1:30am while temps were in single digits. I really appreciate the workers out there in these brutal conditions.

I agree with you completely. Snyder has so much potential, but it needs density to get there. That said, of all possible outcomes for this building after the Walgreens closing, this is pretty solid and a step in the right direction.

Great news for that corner. Also, finally some movement at the gorgeous old bank that was most recently a Wendy's, but's been closed for a couple of years: Burger King installed new signs this week.

Retail has been in freefall at Broad and Snyder over the last three years. Hoping this signals a turnaround.

South Philly food coop is fantastic, but a larger format grocery like this has been a huge missing piece for the neighborhood's walkability. Awesome to see this coverage in the inquirer.

I thought I wouldn't enjoy Veritasium's story of the Citicorp Tower in NYC *almost* falling over. It's a story they teach in architecture school, and I heard it the first time in the 2000s in undergrad. But it's really worth watching - tons of detail I never knew.
