I saw the Rathbone ones when I was younger and I can see why people like him, but I don't think they do the stories justice. The really big thing they get wrong is making Watson a comical buffoon when he is anything but in the stories.

I have thought a bit about why venues have not faced ruinous suits from people whose hearing has been damaged by high volumes of music. It might be because hearing loss is cumulative and if like me you have gone to a lot of gigs it would be hard to pin the damage on any particular venue.

I’m astonished that bands and venues haven’t been sued out of this stupidity.
