Late on today's good news, because today was hard, but there's still good news. Salmon are already back to spawning in creeks and tributaries on the Klamanth River after four dams were demolished. This is the third largest spawning area in the US.

Good News: Conservationists found adult Partula tohiveana mollusks born in the wild. These tiny snails are super adorable and were critically endangered in French Polynesia where they have a lot of cultural and ecologically importance but zoos from all over the world worked together to save them.

Continuing to try to train my brain to notice and seek out good news, so good news: According to the United Nations poverty rates in Latin America and the Caribbean are at record lows and bonus there's a really cool small scale ecosystem restoration project happening in the Firth of Forth.

For my own mental health, I'm trying to intentionally seek out one piece of good news a day. Today I learned that scientists working near the Solomon Islands discovered the largest coral reef ever found, bigger than a blue whale, and it's healthy!
