Yara had stated that Alejandro Jodorowsky was Mexican based on incorrectly remembering his residency in Mexico City in the 1960s and his submission of Fando y Lis at the Acapulco Film Festival in 1968. Jodorowsky is actually of Chilean-French descent.
13). These cultures will inspire our own practices with techniques and concepts not "secrets", "meaning", "tradition", or "authority". Using the analogy of music, we'll be using the same instruments, but we're writing a different song.
