I was pissed off with Dorothea-gate yesterday & I’m still pissed BUT I’ve also just seen this part about the unreleased song ‘Family’, rumoured to be a Rep Vault track, and now I’m wondering if some new lore around this song is being created.

There is wayyyyy too much lore that Taylor herself created that doesn’t fit with the idea that ‘Dorothea’ is a song written solely about her bestie Selena. It may be partially inspired by but the evermore prologue, ‘tis the damn season’, “under the bleachers” of it all is right. there.

i get the impression that dorothea is about selena in the same way that i feel any other taylor song is about any singular person, i just don't think that's really how taylor writes. dorothea became about selena through common fan interpretation and now it's just being reiterated

We have body doubling in 1.5 hours (£0+ to attend), our weekly coffee house in 4 hours & a body doubling sesh on Friday. I’ll also be doing a Part 2 of Analysing The Opalite MV on Thursday 🎙️

How “short” having only 2 hours feels for me 😬😬😬 but it’s good because I don’t really want to extend those ones because I’m already aware that it’s been 2 entire hours on my phone. It’s good because I’ve been bored a lot more often since doing it & the boredom is forcing me to to do other things!

Mine are 12am - 4pm and my autism really abides by those most days - I just take some 15 min breaks sometimes & then always feel annoyed when the break ends. Recently I’ve been trying out their Time Limit function because I didn’t wanna spend over 2 hours on social media and OMFG it really shows

are blocked LMAO. Okay so now I’ve said that out loud I’m gonna go and add BlueSky to the block list so that after midnight I’m starved of apps and must go to bed and read. Opal also blocks TikTok until 4pm the following day so at least I can’t get into scroll holes until then!

Lmao meeeee! My current bedtime is 2am 😳 a thing that’s helped slightly is using the Opal App to limit certain apps after midnight (Tiktok, Instagram, etc)- but I excluded BlueSky because I don’t usually get too scroll-y on here and now it’s become the app I go on after midnight because the others

Like people doing things like this for the community is such a huge reason I love being part of this so much, and why Taylor is so much less at the centre of why I’m here - it’s the community. It is such a neuro-affirming place to exist. Grateful to be part of this space 🥰🥰

Also summarising and synthesising and collating is such a huge skill to have!! I always need a lot of brain energy to summarise anything (even my own theories lol). Trying to make an app like this easier to navigate, and for ppl to be able to go at their own pace is such a gift!
