Thought I'd make an infographic on my latest #StarIsles ship, Yanera-Class ICS

You return home after a long day of work. A light beam from the window gently sweeps across the room, following the rotation of the gravity ring. You forgot to turn off the overhead lamps in the sleep alcove as you left, their warm light beckon, promising the long-awaited rest.

Thanks! The material of the tube is sturdy enough to resist being poked, but one definitely has to be careful with sharp items there

Most models of a universal airlock that are installed on spaceships are equipped with an extendable tube that allows traversal between two ships without them being in direct contact. Ships' navcomputers maintain their relative position while flexible nature of the tube compensates for any drifts.

Decided to update my radiator shader with proper blackbody emission

Despite my complaining. This year was better for art than the last, with a heavy emphasis on sci-fi over furry stuff which what I started drawing decades ago.

Even with my misgivings, I still have a few I thought turned out alright.

The most important thing that happened to my creative aspect this year is finally putting a name on the world I've been creating for one and a half decades (give or take). The name gives it validity. It inspires me to come back that world to expand and deepen it. Well, here is to the Star Isles!

One last spaceship before the New Year.

Yanera-Class ICS (interstellar cargo ship). 182 meters in length, 4500 tonnes of dry mass, powered by two 100 GW fusion reactors.

Series, definitely The Expanse. It has one of the coolest ship designs in all of sci-fi, and they are beautifully depicted on screen (of course, it would be vain without a good story and acting, which it also has)
