Yeah I found out literally like 2 days ago that Australia is introducing legislation that requires social 'media platforms to take action to age restrict the platform to people 16 years or older... Have no idea what kind of enforcement is going to be required but I doubt its any better.

Maybe a hot-take, but I genuinely think I would be fine with paid battle passes (even if they have to up the cost to compensate) if they were NOT, FOMO based.
You pay for a pass, it stays permanent to your account and you can unlock the rewards at any time.
Hell, just remove FOMO in games overall!
