Mildly frustrating watching Weapons suck up all the oxygen as THE breakout horror film when I thought Bring Her Back was the altogether deeper, more accomplished work.
(I say mildly because Weapons isn't underserving of praise, especially for Madigan.)
No title got buried on streaming last year like Hedda. Nina Hoss is as good or better than any performance that wins an Oscar next month.

Judging by the paucity of ratings for this in my Letterboxd circle, folks are really sleeping on Tender Mercies. Why is that, I wonder? Is Driving Miss Daisy so despised that people won't associate with its director in any regard?
