update: i just found out he was at this one too and we just missed him by 4 hrs bc we were having lunch 🙃

the good thing about the back of the pit is the room you have to dance and sing and freak out, we definitely had more energy by the end of the show bc skz are good at that 🙂‍↕️ and we had an insane freak out at hall of fame that i hope someone caught on camera

not naming names but it definitely recognized well known stays at barricade who definitely have the best resources for stuff like this. we're considering trying again for new york d2 but we'll see

for the first time, it really seems like you have to have a friend group or reinforcements to camp and get barricade successfully, although the girls who up being in front of us had higher numbers and somehow ended up in front of us this

by now we were just tired and low energy so we sat and just waited for the show to start, debated going around to see if we could find julien who posted he was at the show but no luck 🫠 the show was absolutely 10/10 no complaints but we were of course disappointed by the outcome of pit camping

so we ended up moving to the back of the pit and parked ourselves right in the middle and the view was pretty crazy

after soundcheck i suggested we head to the back of the pit because while we did have a good view of the left extended stage, we couldn't see shit of the main stage or the center stage(?) and while we did want interaction our main goal was to see the whole show and performance

i wanted to wait it out a bit at least till after soundcheck, of course soundcheck ended up being amazing and the view itself was not bad, hyunjin and chan came a lot to our section and seeing them that close was unreal 😭 def not our first time seeing skz on floor and irl but the closest we've been

were immediately snarky and the vibe was just not great. my friend and i are pretty introverted so we don't make friends easily so we were just keeping to ourselves, but after the whole camping experience we were already tired and the whole mood just soured by the energy around us i guess

when we finally got to pit we just went for the part of the stage where there were still less people so it ended up being 3rd row on the extended stage, the people at barricade in front were on the shorter side so we actually got a decent view, but the stays directly in front of us in the 2nd row

when we got let in it was pretty organized bc everything was single file and no running and we were just praying that our numbers would get us close enough

when we got back to the stadium around 3, we pretty much headed straight to our gate to head to the vip check in for soundcheck, then went to stand in the numbered pit 3 line for another eternity bc ppl couldn't get organized and we were all squished together and it sucked ass

finally after an eternity of waiting, by 9 am they started wristbanding officially, ended up getting number 101 and 102, and by 10 am they started check in. we were exhausted and just needed to get through check in to get back to the hotel and start getting ready

we were pit 3 so eventually we got organized, and my number ended up being 103 🖤 by that time we were skeptical about it being possible to have barricade with a number in the 100s but still had hope bc there were a lot of other stays who had higher numbers that were able to

there ended up being a lot of people arriving and lining up afterwards and eventually after a loooooooong ass time they started numbering by section

mind you i had already been tired from a 5hr train ride to LA but i was not gonna be able to get any sleep on the hard ground but we took shifts anyways

when we got there it was pretty much no instruction just line up, we weren't even sure if we were lining up by section

tbh we went in with zero preparation/experience left the d1 show immediately back to the hotel to shower and change, and head back to sofi to line up at like 2am. literally took hotel towels and a small blanket to sit on
