Let’s add to weird dreams. I dreamed I was an Olympic swimmer (🤣) who was besties with Simone Biles and the summer Olympics were in Alaska so we had to drive through Canada but I panicked because I didn’t have my passport. It wound up being a non issue. WHAT IS GOING ON BRAIN?!

I’m getting really tired of having cool jobs in my dreams that I could never have in real life. Sorry, there’s only one Lucille Ball and it ain’t me!

Years ago I nicknamed my bestie “Jimmie” because she is good with cars. Her full title is Jimmie, mechanical best friend. 🤣

I finished book 40. My goal this year was 40. I guess I'm done reading. (JK i'll keep reading forever!)

I really discovered after that trilogy that I prefer cozier books that don’t have unnecessary trauma. I felt powerless was hunger games x 1000 for Paedyn. But to each their own 😏

I like that it didn’t go that way though. I liked Kit’s epilogue and that it had a happy ending but by the third book I was done with all the trauma dumping for trauma’s sake.

2024 I finished the year reading 38 books with a goal of 30.

2025 I set a goal of 40 and I’ve already read 36.

Prioritizing reading has been a great benefit. I now remember why I used to read a ton as a kid

It’s so good. I looked at the book to see what I was hearing, but I would not have imagined those sounds. I am 1000000% enamored with the book.

Some books are for earballs.

I realized after reading the Powerless Trilogy, I don’t love trauma dumping on characters. Don’t get me wrong, I’m not mad I read those books, but it’s frustrating when the closure does not even deal with the massive amounts of trauma Paedyn endured. It’s a “hey look! It’s a happyish ending!”
