I spent 6 years working with young Ukrainian men and women. Mos not much older than my daughter, with the same hopes and dreams. They worked from shelters, never missed deadlines. They apologized for missing work fleeing from Russian troops. They started every conversation asking me how I was doing.

There are no words that can express my outrage.

To think that we as a country have the right to negotiate the future of another country's future is the height of arrogance. To do so with an individual who is a war criminal, is reprehensible.

Personally, I would have opted for the single mother, raising two children, trying to get a college degree while working two jobs.

Apparently, any obligation to meet these requirements has been bypassed by DOGE not formally designated a federal executive department, the creation of which would require the approval of the U.S. Congress.
