Plums & apricots are stewing for jam, while apples & pears silently swell. I picked my salad for lunch, with the scent of basil filling the humid air. Baby birds are leaving their nests on their first flights, landing on my tomato stakes to rest beside me while I weed, I fall in love here everyday.

I’m going to spend some time in my garden, play my guitar & find any & all healthy ways to soothe my soul over the weekend, maybe even knit my swatch a little. I know I sometimes need to find exits out of the rabbit holes, so I can support others, set boundaries, be authentic & still stay human ❤️

The yarn has been picked out, purchased & loaded into the RV so I have everything needed to get started. I chose an alternate yarn of the same weight & am excited to begin 🧶 #knitting #joy

I’m feeling relieved that our new PM is Dr.Mark Carney.I believe we dodged the biggest bullet here. Poilievre even lost his riding 🙌.But now the big man baby/bully is taking a riding he thinks is safe in Alberta to stay in the game. Joanna Johnson is taking him on & I ❤️ her. The pressure is on here with 7 days to our federal election. The choice is clear if we want to avoid what has been happening with our southern neighbours. The UPC is not conservative here. The are radicalized, conspiracy based & authoritarian. I can’t wait for them to be taken down. A truly Conservative Party with manners, decorum & an actual platform based on truth is needed in Canada. Not all this maga 🐂💩.They used to have some valid points.Not now.
