BC Gov was the first to announce that we’d appeal the decision of Cowichan Tribes v. AG Canada et al. We strongly disagree with the court’s treatment of private property, but even as this case continues, we know lasting solutions are found through dialogue & collaboration with First Nations partners

Let’s be clear about what Alberta is proposing:

BC loses billions of dollars of major projects from private investors.

AND Canadian taxpayers are forced to pay billions more because there is no interest from a private company.

That’s not fair. And fairness is a Canadian value.

For too long, vape & e-cigarette manufacturers have used deceptive marketing to maximize profits at the expense of people’s health. Today’s announcement on our first-of-its-kind legislation will make it possible for us to take legal action against bad-faith actors to recover public health costs.

BC has billions in shovel-ready projects ready to go.

Instead of real jobs for our province, the BC Conservatives are standing up for themselves, infighting and Alberta politics.

We’ll continue to ignore the noise and deliver for this province and country.
