The worst part of fandom is the "fans". I've seen so much "well actually" and gatekeeping about what is and isn't goth. I just don't understand trying to control someone to that degree. Share the love, there is enough to go around.

I absolutely adore this band, go check them out if they are coming to a town near you. Dusty absolutely puts his money where his mouth is, f Trump and his cronies.

I had someone comment on a post I made on YouTube that TR/ST and Male Tears weren't "Darkwave/Goth". Just... kick rocks kid, it's all the same scene. Sure, electropop, or synthpop, or whatever. Fugazi isn't goth either but it was played in almost every goth club in the early 90s. Touch grass.

And not even particularly close.
