Molecular basis for de novo thymus regeneration in a vertebrate, the axolotl
The molecular, cellular, and functional restoration of the axolotl thymus after de novo regeneration is described.
Can't believe my postdoc paper is finally out. Christmas came early this year, holy moly π

#KnowYourZDM was my (albeit failed) attempt at a collaboration with ZDMS. As a result of my insistence that @zebrafishrock.bsky.social be a pan-zebrafish society forum, most of the societies stay clear of us. π€·

I find this to be really fun! AI or not. They have obviously put a lot of effort into each post every day (which definitely don't contain AI). Put down your pitchforks

If it is AI (which fooled me), it's for a promotional piece for a fun holiday series that they obviously put a lot of effort into generating each post (which don't contain AI). This piece doesn't really have any serious flaws as they are highly stylized. Surely, there must be times when this is OK

Iβm embarrassed to say I havenβt met a lot of the #zebrafish community in-person. When I do, I often feel like Iβve known them for ages (while trying not to sound creepy for following them online π

I previously had a targeted ad on Instagram and nearly spent money on a (what I thought was a legitimate) Lego gift bag before it redirected me to a random website to send money to a sketchy account. Their ads are notoriously suspect!

I encourage puns but not using acronyms stems from my retail days. No one understands them without context, which is difficult to do in a short intro post.

Some of it stems from the Cloudflare issues from the last week. But yes itβs awfully slow to load (if it does).

I used to get imposter syndrome when sharing other peopleβs stuff for #ZebrafishZunday. I got over it by thinking that if more people (whether it be a friend, family member or even a grant reviewer) see an awesome image and think zebrafish are cool, it collectively makes our lives/research easier.
