it also WORKS as a discourse for each new generation too, because iD is always experimenting. 3 was very different from the first two, 2016 was a re-imagining, Eternal incorporated far more platforming, Dark Ages adopting larger maps and melee. The next could be a metroidvania for all we know.

It's once again time for NEW INDIE SATURDAY! Today I'm looking at the roguelite shooter Moros Protocol and an indie sidescrolling ARPG called Shadows of Zana. twitch.tv/mattjwilson

and since patreon i guess decided it was not worth keeping any of the mp4 files i posted as backer rewards in the 2010s, because uhhhh i have no idea, i'll have to go through FLAs and see what is final, what required separate processed wav files (which i should have), etc.

as a side note, not everything will be in HD, some files were just lost as i transitioned from computer to computer. i only have the FLAs for the first 59 Bonus Stage episodes, for example. and I don't have the FLAs for Ask the Cartoon Deathzone Stars anymore, so that'll have to remain 540p. sorry!

does patreon just delete attachments from old posts or something? i looked at some of my old posts where i gave people HD mp4s and the attachments are just straight up not there anymore.

I am very sorry to announce that my friend and business partner Andrew Dice, @SpaceDrakeCF, has passed away. Pursuant to that, Carpe Fulgur will be ceasing operations.

Absolutely devastated by this news. SpaceDrake was no doubt a huge influence in drumming up interest for Japanese indie games localized into English and pushing for them on digital distribution storefronts like steam. Huge loss. Might be time for another playthrough of Recettear in his honour.
