A dear friend wrote a video game design proposal for SEGA. Spell correct turned "side-scroller" into "side-scribbler". SEGA thought a side-scribbler was interesting, but she couldn't really explain what it meant when it was brought up. Lol.

HI SETH ROGEN! My Kool Aid movie would be a non-linear story going from 1927 Oklahoma to the Electric Kool Aid Acid Test in the 60's to Guyana in the late 70's. The Kool Aid guy would bust through the third wall into Hastings, La Honda, Georgetown, and a future Mars Colony. Slaughterhouse 5 style.

After Miura's death, I was sure I'd never see Berserk continue, so it's amazing to be able to read a new volume today. The team at Studio Gaga has done an amazing job preserving and expanding on Miura's art, story, and vision. Also, huge props to Dark Horse for getting it translated so quickly!

While I'm reading Sarah Wynn-Williams' "Careless People", it's not so much the individual incidents that are so shocking, but the disturbing personality type that mark and sheryl exhibit. I've worked for and with people like them and their narcissism, greed, and lack of empathy are sadly not unique.

I was left off the credits of a game on the original release and its remaster. I've had to speak up other times to ensure that coworkers were included. Some managers are really petty about credits.

If you need something delightfully positive to watch, look no further than a tour of Walton Goggins' upstate New York house. The house is amazing and Goggins is a great host with some beautiful perspective on life. www.youtube.com/watch?v=AiAG...

Some terrific student work submitted today in level design class! This is a student who's creative, hard-working, skilled, and takes the time to talk to me and seek out early feedback. I'm really looking forward to what they do after they graduate!

Lovely What's In My Bag? (Amoeba Music) with Richard Russell (owner of XL Recordings). His selections are all part of my musical DNA and his tastes continue to guide my journey with acts like Burial and Fontaines DC. I didn't know David Byrne produced Fun Boy Three?!? www.youtube.com/watch?v=YYs_...

When I was a kid, Phantasm was one of the most influential horror movies for me alongside Carpenter's the Thing and Halloween. Reggie Bannister is currently entering hospice care with dementia, but he'd love to hear from fans. Send him some love!

* SPOILERS *

I would have gotten rid of the romance which would have cut 20 minutes or so from the movie and tightened up the pacing. I also didn't like the Groot-style creature design. I also would've made the gorge a little portal to hell.
