He’s come around. We’re having steak, baked potatoes, & cheesy broccoli & cauliflower. It’ll take me an hour or so & boom, a meal we only eat 2-3 times a year anyway. Still a meal & I can enjoy my holiday as much as everyone else. We can watch some movies or play games but I’m not cooking all day.

My husband thinks I should spend 8+ hours cooking on Thanksgiving, so he and kids can have a nice holiday. I said I would cook a normal dinner, even steak, but I was not going to ruin my holiday by cooking all day. AITA?
