There are of course still little details that need correcting but this is a massive step forward. Image to image processing, but real. I can’t say this isn’t a disturbing step for humanity for multiple reasons but it sure is fun to play with. Im thinking of several potential use cases…

ChatGPT 4o multimodal image processing is fantastically accurate. I took photos around Philadelphia and made them into Ghibli cartoons.

This has been giving me anxiety before I go to sleep tbh

Honestly a great framework - the more accurate it needs to be, the less likely AI is the tool for the task (for now)

I predict 20% of Nvidia's revenue will come from China next year. Most recently it was at 17%.

U.S. export restrictions appear to have failed. Multiple workarounds.

This is what the anti AI crowd doesn’t seem to get - we need to talk about this and find solutions but the solution isn’t going to be “whine about how evil AI tech is.”

There are some really cool new opportunities out there. I know that there’s now AI edu systems accessible by land line for some countries without reliable computer access.

But the root inequality here is internet and computer access and we aren’t on even playing ground there, yet. Not even close
