Our new paper reveals critical new regulators of stem cell differentiation that control where the right kinds of cells are made in planarians.
In particular, we find Anosmin—a gene responsible for Kallmann Syndrome—as a restrictor of neurogenesis.

Human fingertip regeneration is a fact, it happens in children and adults (not only in children as it has been long believed). We describe here the regenerative phases and analyse the proteome of wound exudates.

i guess maybe the gold standard is pimonidazole/hypoxyprobe- is there any reliable way that doesn't involve injecting anything in vivo? (like what do people do for human tissues?)
