I set up Bluesky as an alternative to publishing photographs on Instagram - as:

a) the way that Instagram tries to dictate what you do is unacceptable;
b) the whole Meta/Facebook thing isn't of interest to me other than for Marketplace;
c) I'm not a fan of Zuckerberg and his thinking

However, there's also a lot of, to me, "social media dross" on Bluesky so I will be using Blogger/Blogspot which offers a simpler publishing platform that suits my interests.
