Hey friends! I will be taking a short hiatus from social media and comics work until sometime in April. I’ve been working nonstop on personal projects, commissions and kickstarters basically since January of last year, so a break is long overdue. I will be deleting all my socials off my phone and only checking about once a week. My backers and newsletter subscribers will still receive regular updates and I do have to fulfill my campaigns during this time, but I won’t be doing much more than that. In the meantime, on the next images are some announcements and what you can do to keep up with me while I’m away!

Rise of the Flightless returns this summer! After our successful itch campaign, many asked if there would be a physical release of the book. There will be! I’ve asked some of indie comics’ best to contribute new stories which I can’t wait to announce closer to launch. Follow the campaign!

Letters from the Void #2 Pre-launch is live! We’re in the beginning stages of getting Letters from the Void #2 made and hope to launch in early 2027. Follow the campaign to get updates before anybody else!

Just to be clear, my ancestors didn’t pay their taxes and had no property to sell to resolve the debt and I haven’t gotten to dig into why they couldn’t pay their taxes, so I can’t say it was unjust per se.

Finding out my earliest known ancestors’ land was taken by a Sheriff James Patterson just feels like the universe laughing at me. 😅

Anyone close to me knows I have a particular disdain for that author.

I said two years ago Sleep Token would be the new Nickelback because of that reason, but they also have a large women fan base, so of course that means they have to be mocked.

Like, we can take Nickelback or Imagine Dragons as prime examples, but there’s decades of others. Stone Temple Pilots got hate for fans thinking they were copying Pearl Jam. It’s not a conspiracy, it’s a culture that white men have crafted around a genre of music.
