You may know that it was at MOMA in NYC for decades until Franco died, at which point it was returned to Madrid. I grew up with it in NY. The display in Madrid is so well done, what a (the?) 20th century masterpiece deserves.

Even educated, concerned people have trouble distinguishing between mitigation - cutting emissions - and adaptation. We have to do both. The public emphasis, to the extent that there even is one, is on mitigation. The insurance industry is starting to understand adaptation.
