i went round the back, at the very eastern end of Wicksteed, along the parking lots behind the warehouses, to the trail called "Wicksteed Ave Connector"

looking southeast on Beth Nealson Dr, a northbound 88A bus passes by a humungous drill digging a (~2m wide) hole on the northern edge of the Walmsley Brook ravine... the Ontario Line will cross here at grade, and Beth Nealson traffic will use an underpass

posted to a TTC pole, a map of changes effective March 15 to the 88 South Leaside bus routes... both the 88A and 88B will diverge at Sutherland and Millwood as they do now, but instead of going all the way around, each will turn back and return to St Clair station the way they came... a new service, the 156 Millwood, will shuttle between Thorncliffe Park and Wicksteed

looking northeast along Beth Nealson Dr, at the approximate location of the underpass planned for the Ontario Line crossing... in the background, the Parkhurst factory at 51 Beth Nealson, which closed a year ago because moving their specialty knitting machinery to a new location would have been too expensive (everything was auctioned off last year)

effective March 15, the 88 South Leaside bus routes will be altered to accommodate the closing of Beth Nealson Dr for construction of the Ontario Line (a temporary closing expected to last two years)
