New Hampshire HB283 | 2025 | Regular Session Bill Text (2025-02-05) Relative to the list of subjects that comprise an adequate education. [Public Hearing: 02/10/2025 01:30 pm Legislative Office Building 205-207]

These subjects are needed to help children become productive, educated, and aware members of society. It would be incredibly detrimental to their development and our society to remove these mandatory subjects.

-- Computer Science

- Remove Civics, government, Geography, History, including Holocaust and Genocide education from the social studies curriculum.

House Bill 283 is being heard on February 10th. This bills wording seeks to remove the following subjects from public school curriculum:

- Arts Education including music and Visual Arts

- World Languages

- Engineering + Technologies including technology application
