We investigated the microbiome of the polychaete Lanice conchilega. We identified Endozoicomonas as a key component of the microbiome, which is subject to seasonal changes.

There is still so much unknown to be discovered in deep-sea research and especially in my field, lipid and metabolite research, that the explorer's heart is burning!
