NYT vaguely describing Palestinian deaths while Haaretz describes โkilling fieldsโ of Israeli troops murdering people seeking aid.
See if you can spot the difference between New York Times propaganda and the Israeli press. I know itโs subtle, let me know if you canโt figure it out.

But What about the Really Bad People? Anti-Carceral Feminism and Surviving Violence
I wrote a really short piece for Hypatia about being an abolitionist and a survivor and why philosophers are such jerks (Literally I started writing this after giving a talk about the book I wrote with Barrett Emerick since Q&A made me feel like utter shit) doi.org/10.1017/hyp....

Itโs funny how this kind of article never gets written when, say, an American member of the โpro-Israel movementโ murders a 6 year old child of Palestinian heritage at the outset of a conflict that would see the worldโs most moral army slaughter more than 16,000 children with utter impunity

World Central Kitchen | WCK Forced to Halt Cooking in Gaza as Supplies Run Out
After serving more than 130 million total meals and 26 million loaves of bread over the past 18 months, World Central Kitchen no longer has the supplies to cook meals or bake bread in Gaza.
World Central Kitchen has run out of food to serve in Gaza. Its bakery ("recently the last working bakery in Gaza") is out of flour. There are 100,000+ tons of food in staging areas within driving distance of Gaza, and Israel refuses to let them in wck.org/news/gaza-up...

Where Students Have Had Their Visas Revoked
The Trump administration has quietly revoked hundreds of student visas across the country, wreaking havoc on the system.
As of this morning, we've tracked over 600 student visa revocations at more than 100 colleges.
That's double yesterday morning's count. Send updates to me or @amowreader.com and follow @insidehighered.com interactive visa map here: www.insidehighered.com/news/global/...

In just four days, Dr. Khan Suri was transferred among five different ICE facilities across three states, despite the fact that ICE records indicate there were beds in Virginia facilities. Dr. Khan Suri was fasting in religious observance of Ramadan, but multiple ICE facilities refused him food or water to break his fast.
For almost two weeks, he was housed in a room without a bed and with a television blaring 21 hours a day. Dr. Khan Suri was issued used underwear, and a bright red uniform that is usually reserved for detained individuals who have been classified as โhigh securityโ based on their criminal history or alleged affiliation with criminal organizations. He is not permitted to work or spend more than two hours per week outside of his dorm.
Georgetown scholar Dr. Khan Suri, who was abducted by ICE, was refused food/water to break Ramadan fast, housed in a room without a bed, and issued *used* underwear.
His child cried for days after he was taken and has since stopped speaking.
