When he was in year 8 I used to have to chase this lad around school. So glad I don’t have to tackle him now. Good win yesterday.

TOUGH WEEK. Cold and Flu everywhere, great trip for 40 kids to London. Staff to cover, a few kids playing up a bit. Vast majority doing the right thing every day.

Progress! Small steps but important ones.

I've been a trustee at the Holocaust Educational Trust for a while now so I see all the stats and it's so dispiriting.

I think we do a good job fighting back through education but it sometimes feels like trying to hold back the tide with a leaky bucket.

Day 1 in London 🇬🇧
Smooth journey down to London this morning 🚆straight into sightseeing mode!
Took a walking tour of the classics: Parliament, Big Ben, Westminster Abbey & Buckingham Palace 👑🕰️🏛️
Finished the day with an amazing dinner at Honest Burger 🍔 Now it's time to relax at the hotel.

Busy morning at @willenhalle-act.bsky.social but great to see 40 students off to London for culture, theatre, sites and a bit of politics too.

Unlike Question Time, he isn’t constantly platforming Reform.

Turns out 55:07 on official timing.

During this time, I consumed, 3 americanos and 2 pain au chocolates which whilst not a PB, was a valiant effort.

Nearly there..

@willenhalle-act.bsky.social has been waiting for our plush new open plan toilets. We will wait a couple of days more though and have the full cubicles, this feels a bit too open plan.

Open Evening at @willenhalle-act.bsky.social this week. Going into it as a really confident school is fantastic. Attendance is still 6% higher than the same time last year and year 11 Attendance is 8% higher. 👍

We came second. A lot of fun though.

Cancelled Disney. Cassian would have wanted it that way.

Roy gets to school just after me in the morning, every day. By 7am he has done his pre journey checks and is off out to collect students.

He is a big part of our rise in attendance.
