This show also featured the 🐐 Atlas and fantastic jams in both Empress and Arrow.

Oakland N2 getting the flowers it deserves. One of the band's most underrated nights of jamming from start to finish.

Lol I'm gonna have to relisten to that one. The notes from my jam chart: "A long breakdown that turns into a mashup of the Give It Time backend and Carol of the Bells? Good times, but not, like, thrilling."

Is it a coincidence that this version also happens to have a Pink Floyd jam in it? I think not...

I confess I don't get this one. I think both Vegas and SF are a tier above. The "waterfall" guitar/piano interplay in the middle is cool, but it's just a small piece of the jam.

I don't know why this didn't occur to me before, but November 22nd is a helluva day for my two favorite bands @phish.com and @goose-band.bsky.social. (Going with the Hampton Tweezer here because I feel like it doesn't get enough love.)

They're the two best, no doubt. I'd give the nod to Toronto as well, but they're both fantastic. And I think they're both underrated because of how stacked winter tour was.

It's in the discussion. To my ears, the 🐐 cover title is still held by Atlanta Half Step 6/20/24, even though Gilford FITS this year gave it a run for its money.

Awesome jam. Also totally unique. Some parts remind me of Birds of a Feather. Other parts remind me of the verses in Factory Fiction.

Absolutely. I currently have it at no. 10, but it could move up.

No doubt, GR Hungersite is a straight-line bliss jam. But it's one of the best versions of that, and I loved it. And it's not peaky to my ears. It has one, well-timed, epic, not-overwrought peak. Rick is otherwise very restrained up to that point. When I think "peaky," I think Salt Shed Cakes '23.
