I think this is basically correct. Going to be one hell of a burst, though.

An irony here is that many of the same issues that are turning young people away form organized religion are also turning them away from organized secularism.

Depends. Lots of people who don't believe in God are just rejecting a belief system. But many who are actively atheist (they are inspired to think/talk/act on religion in some way) "believe" in a form of atheism that doesn't just deny but makes assertions about what is real.
