Generally speaking I don't really like Ubisoft all that much these days but...
I do have to admit I think it's cool they have a small team going back and adding free frame rate and resolution boost patches to older titles, and it sucks that it's only THEM that's really doing this kind of thing.

Very impressed at The Forgotten Lands mod for Jak & Daxter so far.
As far as the levels and exploration goes, there's a lot of times where it's easy to forget it's a fan-made level pack and it ends up just feeling like it all belongs.

Quite short, but good!
It definitely feels like is has some of the spark I felt was lacking in LN3.
There's just more here to sit and think about once the credits roll. Definitely going to replay this one!

Demon Tides is great so far.
I'm taking my time and enjoying it at my own pace but so far... Yeah it's excellent!
It's basically fulfilling the idea of a full-game version of Bowser's Fury with the open sea islands as levels, but generally focuses more on combo-based movement options.
It's good!
Fabraz's (@fabraz.bsky.social) willingness to explore outside of their comfort zone lands them another hit in Demon Tides, which pushes the 3D platformer genre forward, and does it in style!

Their work on the uncharted trilogy was a huge eye opener to me back then at how rad it is having a studio doing this specific kind of thing.
That remaster bundle was basically a perfect execution of what it was trying to be.
A pretty big issue with my capture set-up has manifested itself, and I can't help but feel everything is stacking against me lately.
Every single time I start feeling remotely good, or generally creative again some random bullshit happens to set me back again. Every single time.
Tired.
