By multiple media formats do you mean like a photo and a gif on the same tweet? Or >1 photo on the same tweet? Because I have many tweets with >1 photo on them.
Do you also keep threaded tweets together? And can you pick and choose which tweets/threads to bring over? If so, I am very interested!

Yup. A lot of people have nice cameras and still take rubbish photos lol. Or take photos that should be good but are ruined by basic composition errors (wonky horizon, Iβm looking at you!). Still, if they enjoy taking said photos then Iβm not going to rain on their parade.

Photo of a grey tabby cat with white socks lying in prawn pose on a striped rug. He is surrounded by discarded footwear: two black Birkenstock sandals and one black boot, as well as a random red and white striped pencil. His human is very messy.

Me too! We have a fair few over here π
I even have a family of Babblers that come to my yard at my new house, as well as Apostlebirds. I got overly excited when they first came to visit!

I canβt remember if the genetics holds up (surely someoneβs tested it by now), but if I recall correctly Apostles and WW Choughs got put together into Corcoracidae because of their cooperative breeding and identical nest-building. They look nothing like each other but behave the same.

Just our choughs here in Aus. The N Hemisphere choughs are totally different. Classic βletβs name all these new species after things they vaguely resemble from the UKβ.

Photo of a medium-sized grey bird with standing on a wooden table next to a 1 litre Nalgene water bottle. It has a chunky pointed beak and a longish tail.
They are vaguely reminiscent of our Apostlebirds, who are also cooperative breeders. Though Apostlebirds are almost monotypic, sharing their family with only one other species, the White-winged Chough (they both make little mud cup nests).

Here in Aus (Iβm my part anyway, we have so many variable seasons here), when we have a warm period around early sept followed by more cold we call it False Spring.
Iβm not sure Iβve noticed anything specific between hot and cold times, but Iβll be keeping an eye out for it now.

An added bonus of blocking all these accounts is they wonβt be able to see your content and will be less able* to steal it.
Back on Twitter you had to manually block each one. This list lets you block them all with two taps! Hit Subscribe > Block accounts.
Bingo!
*hopefully not at all

Content scrapers post images without permission or credit to the original creators. They rack up followers and then sometimes sell the accounts, making money off other people's work. Please consider blocking them and if you want to avoid all of them you can use this block list. Thank you!

Conference prep for pros:
Step 1: Take week off work to prep for conference.
Step 2: Procrastinate all week and end up panic prepping the day before anyway.
Step 3: Wing it on the day.

Gotta get back into conference-mode and cockatoo-mode.
Anyone else going???

But logging in here I see all these faces I havenβt seen in ages because they arenβt on Twitter anymore and itβs like finding old friends again! Itβs such a shame because managing more than one app is a bit too much π©

Hey #Herbarium and #Museum peeps!
Any resources or pro tips for digitising collections?
We have a little regional herbarium in our office that Iβd love to digitise so itβs available to more people and also just in case something terrible happens to it. Are there standards I should follow? #OzPlants
