I scheme trained myself in 1 week and performed my job too well and now they want to pull the old timer from his role to put me there instead at werk 😬 (it’s the least physically demanding task)

I’m game after he retires or if he’s out on vacation but… c’mon. This feels kinda heartless and dirty.

I’m trying to convince my mom that ✨condo✨ is the way to go if we have any chance of moving back home where we belong (at least as non-renters) but she doesn’t see the vision.

I’m at the point where I just wanna go back home either way I’m so sick of this place 🥲

At least the guy at the bank wasn’t concerned at all about us getting approved. It’s just a matter of figuring out where our comfort zone is in what we can afford and finding a home that matches that which is… not *that* great considering where we want to move to 🥲

We went to the bank today to dip our toes into property-buying discussions with a lender… (just curious to see if it’s possible). So much information dump and I feel like I learned almost nothing lmao

LL is now pressuring us to agree to a lease renewal before they leave the country for vacation. Just put me out of my misery. No. We have already mentally moved out. But we don’t want them to know that yet. Just need more time to find the right place. Fuck.

I hope we can figure out where/how we’re moving to soon. We feel like prisoners in the place we live now. Our LL is psychotic. Won’t leave us alone and is so freaking beyond selfish, entitled, and cheap. Just taking advantage of us at this point. The tell-all book I could write. Holy shit.

Told LL to have handyman come at 9am.

They disregard and schedule for 8:30am. Fine whatever just get it done.

Honestly I feel like an idiot for not investing in them sooner?? I only got them to try and improve my quality of life at werk a little (to take myself mentally away from that place as much as possible) and then it was like wait these are never coming off ever lmao

Noise cancelling headphones are so great omg. I’m such a headphone person now at werk, at home, out in public they never come off… just living in my little bubble of music and audio from replaying heated rivalry episodes 🫡

Did I mention the part where 3 days before Xmas she said she wants to raise our rent? My mom has been cooking for her twice a week for the past year and was bringing her food :) And she still had the nerve to ask my mom to cook for 10+ family members for Xmas AND new years. Just beyond selfish.

LL finally texted telling me that the specialist never showed up which I could have predicted and saved ourselves all the trouble bc it’s fuckin CHRISTMAS EVE

My LL is so fuckin inconsiderate. It’s Xmas Eve & they’re insisting on a maintenance thing today. I had to work at 2am. 7 days straight. My mom now has to go to work. I TOLD her no later than 1pm bc of this.

It’s now 3pm and they’re still not here. Wasting my damn time.
