You seem to be falling into the trap of believing that politicians are important. Changing political power is necessary, but not sufficient.
And if I lived 24/7 on BlueSky I would think that elections are the only things happening. And yet, I seem to be busy and not working elections.

Voting is the bare minimum we can and should do. We need to work now to make sure that people understand what is at stake, to dream of the nation they really want, and are educated on what is really on the ballot. That starts...yesterday.

I waited 6 weeks for this book to be returned to the library and sent to me. The first day reading, I wanted to badly to start writing in the margins. The second day I ordered a copy for myself. Now I have to finish it, then start again to take notes and put stickies on pages.
