German is hard until it “clicks” and then the learning ramps up quickly. I used a company called Berlitz thru work and they were great. But Duolingo and watching German movies/youtube will get ya there quickly as well.
Italian scares me because I know that I’ll just slip into sloppy Spanish

Yeah, for sure. I found that I needed to learn Spanish in a completely different way than I learned German. And now when I speak, I need to lock my mind into only thinking in that language or I become a moron speaking 3 gibberish languages at once. Wait until you start dreaming in another language!
