Nobody knows for certain how Trumpβs War on Iran will play out or end.
The only thing we know for certain is that Trump will declare victory no matter what happens.
Hungary's Russian-backed Orban now allowing his Moscow masters to iron out all the details for transitioning the country into a Russian colony.
Meanwhile, silence from the EU.
Lawrence Freedman: "If Russia has all the cards, why has it achieved so little?"
"in the past year Russia suffered roughly 400,000 casualties, including killed, wounded and missing, to acquire around 0.8 percent of Ukrainian territory."

US Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth boasts of a BA from Princeton & a master degree from Harvard, but anybody who hears him notes this is a crude ignoramus.
How did Hegseth get his two Ivy League degrees? Basketball?
Or like the Trump & Kushner kids?

Trump does whatever he can to help Putin:
1. Refuses to deliver any arms for sale to Ukraine.
2. Hikes the global oil and gas prices to Russia's benefit through his madcap war against Iran.
3. Eases oil sanctions against Russia to help financing its war against Ukraine.
Happy to see the European reactions to the Trump-Netanyahu war of choice against Iran:
1. Nobody supports it.
2. Not even Mark Rutte dares to suggest that Europe should help in this war.
3. I do hope that Europe will rearm asap with their own arms, since the US is so unreliable.
I wrote about Trump's fantasy of omnipotence and invulnerability crashing against the material reality of a interdependent world. This insane, heedless war will ruin us all. www.nytimes.com/2026/03/06/o...

Documents reveal a web of financial ties between Trump officials and the industries they help regulate:
ProPublica is releasing a trove of disclosure records that detail the finances of more than 1,500 Trump appointees who declined to identify former clients.
The jokes write themselves.

As though we needed any more evidence that Fox "News" is a mendacious propaganda machine and not remotely a serious journalistic enterprise.
Still, this is pretty astounding.

Thatβs why this is less an βAmerica is poorerβ story than an βAmericans reshuffle who winsβ story. Drivers lose. Oil industry wins.

Can networks check with families whether they said this before reporting?
Maybe Iβm weird, but wouldnβt this hurt even more if this werenβt accurately reported..
There are going to be Republicans running in many places who will go out of their way this October to point out to voters that they never asked for Trumpβs endorsement. Susan Collins will top the list.
