Maintenant on nous colle de l'ia partout. Tout est plus ou moins fermé et siloté. L'interopérabilité existe de moins en moins. Le moindre nouveau truc est propriétaire. La courbe d'apprentissage pour exister sur le web en dehors des plateformes américaines est tres pentue.

L'internet du début des années 2000 c'est pas si vieux que ça et ça restera toujours plus ouvert et accessible qu'aujourd'hui, dans l'âme en tout cas. Je ne nie pas que certaines améliorations contemporaines sont bienvenues. Mais en ce qui concerne l'esprit de ces années là, y'a plus grand chose.

Sur le sujet je dois admettre que j'ai un point de vue biaisé : l'informatique est ma passion depuis mes 5 ans, j'ai vu la direction que prend l'informatique depuis des années. Et oui, c'était mieux avant. L'informatique et internet étaient bien plus ouverts et accessible qu'aujourd'hui.

Alors oui, la question des terminaux peut jouer, tout comme le cas des voitures de plus en plus fermées à la bidouille. Mais la frappe au clavier, ça ne l'explique pas. Si l'on achète pas apple, l'informatique reste assez ouverte pour installer autre chose que windows pour réapprendre à bidouiller.
