January 8, 2026 A Reading Ewen Glass I forgot to unmute my mic for the whole twelve minutes; some people said it was my best performance. I wondered if lines I edited out lived in that silence, words I could never say. I always wanted to find myself in a situation that required a wan smile. I smiled wanly and said I looked forward to not being heard again.
