c. 1999, Mamet spoke at my college, delivering a speech full of cliched advice about education. At the Q&A, fanboys lined up to ask about obscure moments in The Untouchables etc. Then a young woman asked about Mamet's female characters, probably using the word "misogyny." Mamet got huffy and fled.
