Community Mourns Pastor Killed in Accidental Shooting During Attempted Burglary A church community in Houston is mourning the loss of Pastor Pedro Cantu following an attempted burglary of Cantu’s home.

Pedro Cantu spent 34 years building a church in Houston. He was killed in his own home just after midnight — shot accidentally by a relative who was trying to protect him. churchleaders.com/news/2214064...

Lessons From a Contextualized Egyptian Megachurch Heliopolis is a thriving and vibrant megachurch in Egypt, embedded in the Heliopolis neighborhood of Cairo.

Grateful for the chance to worship and learn alongside Egyptian believers last year.

This experience reminded me again how beautiful and powerful contextual, Christ-centered ministry can be. The church is thriving in places many never see.
