I heard what sounded like a dog’s squeaky toy in my back yard. It was two hawks (Cooper’s Hawks?) hanging out and eating a large rodent with a long tail. A first for me, but it seems they are fairly common in the Vancouver area.

I’m still thinking about the Lilith Fair doc. It presents a very clear story about identity politics from 30 years ago, when radio stations refused to play more than 1 woman artist in a rotation and the industry was much more racially segregated. 1/2
