Plasmidsaurus Launches Ultrafast RNA-Seq Service The company says the system can benefit pharmaceutical and biotech firms seeking rapid feedback on drug candidates or genome editing.

Please let me know if you try the @plasmidsaurus.bsky.social RNA-seq service. We worked VERY hard on making it awesome!!!

Happy sequencing everyone!!!

Plasmidsaurus should have stellar tech support, please let me know if you couldn't get the answer there.

For a 120nt polyA encoded in a plasmid, we would expect something around 40-50 in the output.

Looking for that plasmid you cloned last year?

You can now search your entire Plasmidsaurus history, including by plasmid features.

Do you have any suggestions or requests?

I'll be in San Diego on Tuesday night. Is there any interest in an @plasmidsaurus.bsky.social informal meetup at New English Brewing on Tuesday evening? Beer and stickers on us.

Is Ultima Genomics the ultimate genomics solution? Cool to see the sequencers (they insist on calling them tools) and mirror-finish sequencing wafers in action.

So deep research is good for stuff you aren't familiar with, and bad for stuff that you are already an expert on? Sounds like Gell-Mann amnesia.

These 2 videos are fundamental for how biologists things about molecules, and yet almost nobody's aware of these phenomena.

The 1st explains how sugars spontaneously isomerize into differently active forms.

The 2nd shows how sucrose rapidly hydroyzes to glucose and fructose.

Kristian - what is the best place to read the current available evidence for a non-lab origin? In your model, does non-lab origin include infection during collection and sampling of caves by WIV personnel?
