...Was it any good? I'll usually avoid *anything* with animals as the main focus because they usually always die in the end (especially the heartfelt ones) but the concept of this one was very intriguing.

Yeah, he was on the frail side, so I definitely wasn't getting an evil predator vibe from him.

(also just in case anyone is still giving me side eye about how dangerous it was, I told 3 people, and could have shared my location with them in a heartbeat.)

It was just really sweet that he was concerned of my walking all the way home on a twisted ankle, that he'd offer me - another complete stranger that also has RBF and looks menacing - a ride.

After we got our prescriptions, he offered me a ride home. Now, I'm not normally the type to accept rides from strangers, but he told me his address first and it was a street from my home. (Plus he's in his 80s) So, he drove me to the end of my street and drove off. (Cont)

I mean, I do both and can vouch that sometimes the writing is way more satisfying & has more impact. There's no worse feeling than spending two weeks on an art piece that gets one or two likes & is then tossed aside with a demand for more "content".

Do what fulfills you. That's the most important.
