Honesty, I hate that we've had the discussion on the death of architecture since roughly the 70s and it does feel pretty unalive at this point, but we keep the glorious façade of this "noble craft" for some reason

My only opinion on architecture after roughly seven years of education is that there's no such thing as an ugly room. "Insta trends" and "pretty photos" and "the right use of golden ratio" are nonsense. Yes, you live like that. It's none of anyone's business if your bedsheets don't match the walls.

Fun fact about me: I like drawing houses (and also regret getting a degree in architecture)

Yet so many people just have a natural understanding of good composition, all these concepts I have to dig through to understand.... artists are truly sorcerers
