To restore democracy and create a fairer, safer, greener world, we need massive taxes on the ultra-rich. As in the 1940s. People get confused about this. The main purpose of such taxes is *not* to raise revenue. The point is to stop the few dominating the many. It's an essential democratic measure.

No one wants it. Amazon sends a ton of packages through us. UPS and FedEx do as well.

I mean, your problem is assuming people read.

My job literally has a sign in 72 point font, that says, "Have box taped up and addresses on it before reaching cashier" and everyone is flabbergasted when I send them to the other side of the room to do just that.

We have literal billionaires that pay less in taxes than *I* do, by percentage.

Tax them a flat 40%, tax their capital gains on stocks as well.

That damn near pays for it.

Personally, I think we shouldn't have *any* billionaires. Tax them into oblivion.

If I thought I had a snowballs chance in hell, I'd run. But I would also have to give up a govt career and pension to even try.

Oh, okay. Yeah. Time is a fake, wholly man-made concept. Besides, the day is longer than 24 hours, though only by a few seconds. And it's getting longer.

Granted, I do have to pay about 50-80 cents more per gallon because of my car, but even accounting for that, I think I saw gas at 3.75 or so at the gas station on my way to work on Saturday, which is only 2 cents less/gallon.

I saw a 60 cent/gallon increase in 2 days.

That's less than what I paid here in the US last week.

I mean, I've watched a joust before. This is accurate, but jousts are generally safe. The plate on the shoulder combined with the armor and jousting lance designed to splinter like that makes it mostly safe.

Two old men who’ll send young ppl to die so they can avoid prison.

Admittedly, this is just being cynical and defeatist, but I'm also really fucking tired of this administration and I can't wait for whatever is currently killing Trump to get it over with.

At this point, I expect that if a draft happens again, it'll not be by Congressional approval. It'll be in an EO, and Congress will just let it happen.

And then no one can sue to stop it because SCOTUS will say they don't have standing since they aren't currently drafted or some shit.

Okay. This isn't just another administration, though, and assuming they will act like every other admin is foolish.

They will take the cruelest action possible at every opportunity.

Had some Credit on Steam from a screw up on my end a couple months ago. Picked up Slay the Spire 2.

Even with it in "Early Release" it feels complete.
