I hear Welsh being spoken pretty regularly here. Appreciate that my perspective is different as I'm Welsh, work in Cardiff but live in Bristol

The Cymraeg option on self-checkouts in Bristol (and S Glos) is proof enough for me. Time to accept that Bryste is the correct name and spelling...

It's been interesting to hear how 6Music presenters mangle the name of Gwenno's latest, Y Gath....

Bacareto is lovely for small plates, gelato, various spritzes and some lovely beers. Curado is good for tapas, as is Bar44 (on the same street so have a few plates in both). In the day time, the market has some great options

The Kardomah one is my favourite, but The Shed's genuinely made me look twice as the lighting etc is seamless
